We are seeking an energetic and motivated Business Development Manager to lead strategic sales initiatives and drive revenue growth. This role is critical for expanding our market presence by selling Managed Services, QA Automation, and Professional Services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the contact center industry, a strong track record of generating $2-3 million annually, and the ability to develop new relationships with clients in telecommunications, banking, and insurance sectors. Frequent travel (60-80%) is required to meet with clients, build networks, and close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development (25%)
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve annual revenue targets of $2-3 million in Managed Services, QA Automation, and Professional Services.
  • Identify target markets and craft approaches that align with industry trends.
  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Development (20%)
  • Research, network, and attend industry events to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads. 
  • Develop relationships with key decision-makers in telecommunications, banking, and insurance sectors.
  • Client Relationship Management (20%)
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges to offer tailored solutions.
  • Foster trust with decision-makers to facilitate long-term partnerships. 
  • Solution Selling (20%)
  • Present and demonstrate the value of Connex's services to potential clients, addressing their specific challenges and offering practical solutions.
  • Lead contract negotiations to secure profitable agreements that align with company goals. 
  • Collaboration & Delivery (10%)
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and technology, to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction. 
  • Performance Monitoring (5%)
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.

Desired Skills

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales within the contact center industry, specifically with Managed Services, QA Automation, and Professional Services.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in telecommunications, banking, and insurance (600-900 agent environments), with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges.
  • Sales Track Record: Proven ability to generate $2-3 million annually through business development and sales.
  • Communication & Negotiation: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience in negotiating contracts and closing deals. 
  • Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel frequently (60-80%) to meet with clients and attend industry events.
