Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Architect who will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing end-to-end architectural solutions for the Contact Centre solutions. This independent contributor role involves acting as a trusted technical advisor to business partners, developing architectural frameworks, and driving innovative solutions that align with enterprise standards. The Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure system scalability and reliability, and guide the integration of advanced technologies in a highly regulated environment. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to deliver impactful solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and innovative solutions for contact center technologies.
  • Support the Contact Centre Product Family as part of the Solution Architecture Practice department.
  • Act as a technical advisor to business partners, providing architectural target states and prioritizing product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with platform technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain architecture frameworks/solutions ensuring efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Create end-to-end solution designs following enterprise architecture guidelines.
  • Lead project/product architecture blueprints and high/low-level design specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, defining principles for solution components and ensuring alignment with security and scalability requirements.
  • Apply expertise in database, application, software layering, infrastructure integration, and cloud migration to develop comprehensive software designs.
  • Mentor and train junior colleagues, staying updated on expanding technologies and industry trends.
  • Ensure production systems operate under known conditions by developing observability standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and platform teams to align architecture visions with business outcomes.
  • Drive risk management and compliance processes, identifying and mitigating architectural issues and technology debt.
  • Participate in cross-functional/enterprise initiatives, acting as a subject matter expert for risk assessment and guidance.
  • Monitor and report on product/project status, ensuring adherence to domain architecture and standards.
  • Inspire team collaboration and development of collective technical knowledge.
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, ensuring processes align with regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
  • Promote service quality, innovation, and teamwork while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Share knowledge through thought leadership, mentorship, and active communication within the team.
  • Represent the organization as a brand ambassador internally and externally.

Desired Skills


  • Experience with Cisco Contact Centre platforms, including Webex CCE (ICM, CVP, VVB, Voice Gateways).
  • Proficiency in Nuance technologies (TTS/ASR, Gatekeeper).
  • Familiarity with Verint, NICE WFM, Pega, and TCS/TS2.
  • Knowledge of Azure ASP/ASE, RESTful APIs, BFF patterns, and microservices.
  • Strong expertise in designing and deploying cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and integrations with CRM/IVR systems.
  • Solid understanding of contact center technologies like IVR, NLU, and conversational AI.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to create scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with security standards, including OAuth2, SAML, and PCI compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced experience in Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and client-facing abilities with both technical and non-technical audiences.
