Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and customization of Genesys Cloud solutions to meet business requirements. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the Genesys Cloud platform, including its architecture, API capabilities, and integration points. Familiarity with Genesys Cloud CX features, functionalities, and best practices for deployment. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Genesys Cloud applications with existing systems. 
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewall configurations, which are crucial for integrating Genesys Cloud solutions within an organization’s IT infrastructure.
  • Ability to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective Genesys Cloud solutions that align with business goals and technical requirements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and software engineers, to comprehend business requirements and provide solutions aligned with customer needs. 
  • Ability to utilize Genesys Cloud analytics and reporting tools to generate insights and improve customer experience. Understanding of data visualization tools and KPIs related to contact center performance. 
  • Customize and configure the Genesys Cloud platform, encompassing the design of workflows, routing strategies, and IVR solutions. .
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership, ensuring alignment and buy-in for Genesys Cloud initiatives.
  • Create and update documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and knowledge base articles, to facilitate effective knowledge transfer and support processes. 

Desirable Skills

  •  Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years in the relevant field OR proven working experience in the related field  
  • Strong understanding of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and experience with major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Knowledge of cloud architecture principles, scalability, and security practices.  
  • Experience with RESTful APIs for integrating Genesys Cloud with other business systems (CRM, ERP, databases) and third-party services.
  • Previous experience working on telecommunications solutions and platforms. 
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell for automation, custom scripting, and API integration with the Genesys Cloud platform. 
  • In-depth knowledge of Genesys Cloud architecture and related technologies. 
  • Understanding of security principles, data protection regulations (like GDPR), and compliance standards relevant to cloud-based contact centers. 
  • Familiarity with telephony concepts, SIP protocol, and VoIP technologies, including session border controllers (SBCs) and media gateways.
  •  Strong project management skills to oversee Genesys Cloud implementations, including planning, execution, monitoring, and resource management.
  •  Certifications related to Genesys Cloud, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and networking can be beneficial..
